Warning: This is a mind-blowing exhaustive post.

Months ago, I wrote about how AI would challenge writers and disrupt the writing industry in content. Although we might be reluctant or feel uneasy about this idea, let’s learn how these AI content generators help us to create better content faster.

1. Shortly AI

Shortly AI promises that “writer’s block is a thing of the past”. Using the app as your writing partner, you can write any piece of content in minutes. All you need to do is to set the AI using the instructions they prepared to get the result you want.

You can try it for free with limited features, although you can upgrade them by paying either the annual plan or monthly plan for $65/month and $79/month, respectively. Whichever you choose, the plans will help you through the following:

2. Jarvis (also known as Conversion AI)

Jarvis is formerly known as Conversion AI, which is the same company that acquired Shortly AI. Similarly, the features will help you write high converting copy that’s necessary for ads, emails, or websites, depending on the targeted goal.

With over 20,000 AI copywriters right now, you can give it a shot today and see if this app will be helpful to you. All you need to do is to sign-up using the preferred methods either by email or Google accounts.

However, it’s not for free. You may have to pay the price upfront to get access to its features, though they promise a 7-day money-back guarantee.

Depending on the number of features you want to enjoy, Jarvis offers three (3) plans for you to choose from:

5. InferKit

Unlike most AI content generators, InferKit tends to cater more to creative writing than content used to optimize or leverage small businesses. It doesn’t need you to train the AI because the creators behind it have already done it for you.

As a text generation tool, you have to place input text to generate the next series of texts for completion. You can see how this app works in the screenshot below.

However, InferKit has a limited number of characters per run to make it work. Right now, it can comprehend 3,000 characters per run. So, keep this caution in mind.

When it comes to pricing, you only have two (2) options to choose from. It’s either you go for a Basic Plan for $20/month or a Premium Plan for $60/month. You can see the differences between the two in the summary below:

Basic Plan ($20/month)

Additionally, Headlime offers an AI-powered landing page builder that can be customized according to your business needs. So, you don’t have to go through the hellish process of creating a website from scratch.

You can also use this app for other purposes through the following tools in 11 languages:

Individual Plan ($59/month)

  • Perfect for personal use or small businesses
  • 1,500 credits per month

Business Plan (starting from $399/month with 3 members)

To give you a clearer picture between these two plans and know what you’re spending for, below is a table with additional features for comparison categorized into:

7. Zety

Zety is an AI content generator that has similar features as Rezi. They are both great for creating the best cover letter for your job search. However, Rezi tends to focus on building resumes, while Zety is for cover letters, although they both have shared features to create high-converting CVs, resumes, and cover letters.

It has earned the trust of many media companies, such as The Guardian and Forbes, because of its promising 3-step process.

To get started, you can sign-up for a 14-day trial using your preferred email or Gmail address, or your Facebook account. They will also ask for your payment details before you can download your file in PDF or Word formats.

When it comes to pricing, you have 2 options:

  • 14-Day Full Access (most popular) for 2.70 Euro
  • Monthly Access for 5.95 Euro (save 77%)

Whichever you choose between the two (2) plans, you have 14 days to test this app and evaluate whether Zety is good for your needs or not. If you don’t like it, you can cancel by email or call. Find out more about Zety and its features here.

8. CopyAI

CopyAI follows a 3-step process to direct the AI to generate the copy you need.

You can start by selecting a type of copy that is right for you or your client. Then, you enter the details, such as the company name and 1–2 sentences to describe what you do. Finally, you get 10 results per run and edit for personalization or further customization.

To where can you use CopyAI?

  • Digital ad copy (Facebook Ads, Google Ads, and LinkedIn Ads)
  • Social media content (Captions, Instagram posts, and brainstorm topics)
  • Website copy (hero text, subheaders, and meta descriptions)
  • eCommerce copy (product descriptions, product benefits, and microcopy)
  • Blog content (blog titles, ideas, or outlines, blog intros, or bullet points)
  • Sales copy (ex. Pain-Agitate-Solution, Before-After-Bridge, Attention-Interest-Desire-Action)

Do these features excite you? If you are, you can give CopyAI a try today for free within 7 days. Once you get access, you can enjoy as much as 100 runs per day and 24/7 email support.

9. Copysmith

Like most AI content generators available right now, Copysmith offers similar features to speed up your content writing and copywriting process. In a few clicks, you can instantly rewrite existing content, generate content and blog ideas, as well as high converting product descriptions for eCommerce websites.

According to John Keehler from RUNNER Agency, Copysmith has reduced the amount of time needed for writing content by as much as 80%. Not only do companies benefit from this app, but other sectors of the content marketing industry can also enjoy premium features, such as the following:

According to Copysmith’s pricing page, you can finish a month-long work within a few hours. It is possible to save thousands of hours from writing when you are willing to pay for either of three (3) plans, starting from $19 for a Starter Plan.

To enjoy these plans at a lesser cost, a yearly plan can save you more as much as 15% of its monthly cost. For example, a Starter Plan could only be $16/month if paid annually compared to $19/month if paid monthly.

Below is a screenshot of Copysmith’s pricing plans in two (2) sets. The first screenshot shows you the amount to pay when you prefer a monthly subscription. The next screenshot tells you the amount for the annual subscription.

Copysmith’s pricing plans if paid monthly

Copysmith’s pricing plans if paid annually

Do you like to try Copysmith and see if it works for your writing needs?

If yes, you can click this link to sign-up. Don’t worry. I’m not in any way affiliated with any of these websites, so I don’t earn anything from writing about these AI content generators.

10. Snazzy AI

Recently acquired by Unbounce, Snazzy AI is great for content teams, enterprises, startups, and agencies. Powered by the GPT-3 model, this app is designed to accommodate team collaborations without hassle or issues.

Like the other AI content generators on the list, it helps to create high converting Google Ads, taglines, landing pages, and product descriptions for eCommerce websites. Additionally, it also has other features to suit your content needs, such as:

  • Tagline generator
  • Landing page copy generator
  • Google Ads generator
  • Investor emails generator
  • Product descriptions generator
  • Sales email generator

As you may know, creating high-quality content in any form requires a great number of writing hours to produce. With Snazzy AI’s ready-to-use templates, this process becomes easier and more convenient because you can flesh out great content within a few clicks.

If you like to give it a try, it’s either you pay nothing for limited features or $300/year for unlimited content. It’s your choice. Click here to sign-up for Snazzy AI for free and find out more about it.

Starter Plan (Free) Growth Plan ($25/month if paid annually, $49/month if paid monthly)

11. Unaique.net

Unaique.net is a German-based startup platform that uses AI-generated algorithms to create any piece of content you want. Using this app can save you as much as three (3) hours of writing work. “Artificial intelligence does the copywriting for you,” according to the team.

Its construction is heavily catered to copywriting that can be used for social media, blogs, and podcasts. Furthermore, you can also use this app for topic research which is necessary for marketing and product descriptions.

You can start working on the content on their website to generate the content and continue on a word processor for editing and proofreading. When I tried this app for this review, I had to wait longer than 12–15 minutes which is the estimated waiting time for content generation.

To find out more about Unaique.net, you can click here and give it a try for free. See if this AI content generator suits your current writing needs or not.

12. AI Writer

Trusted by popular media companies, AI Writer stands out among other AI content generators available right now. Among them are ABC, CBS, Fox, and NBC. Given that, are you wondering why it’s one of the tools that stand out?

Here are a few of the reasons why AI Writer is a popular choice in content creation:

  • It increases profits and efficiency by as much as 50%.
  • It makes content generation easy.
  • It allows easier research and content writing process.
  • It repurposes existing content and re-publish it faster with a high ROI.
  • It only cites pieces of information from verifiable sources.

One of its promising features is its capability to generate a full-length article from a headline. Unlike most generators on the list, AI Writers make this feature possible only for a few clicks.

Not only does it provide a full-length article, but it also lists citations only from verifiable sources of information, makes sure the content is fresh and relevant, unique and original, and above all, SEO-friendly and authoritative.

If you want to give AI Writer a try, you can sign-up for a one-week trial and check whether this platform suits your content writing process or not. It’s better to give it a try without spending a dime before you upgrade to specific plans.

When you decide to upgrade, you have three (3) available options, depending on your usage per month. You can check the summary below.

  1. Basic Plan ($19/month)
  2. Standard Plan ($49/month)
  3. Custom Plan (price disclosed per request)

13. Writesonic

Writesonic is another AI content generator that’s useful for content creators, agencies, and eCommerce. Within seconds, you can get the specific type of content you need for your business. Currently, it is available in 24 languages, including English, French, Spanish, Italian, German, and Polish.

When you start using Writesonic for content writing, you can take advantage of other features, such as:

  • Write articles and blog posts
  • Generate marketing copy
  • Summarize articles
  • Rephrase and rewrite content
  • Draft professional emails
  • Fix grammatical errors

With an overall rating of 4.8 out of 5 on various review websites, one can assume that this AI-powered tool is truly effective, regardless of which sector in the digital marketing industry a user belongs to.

The best thing about Writesonic is the free option, unlike most AI content generators. The Trial Plan allows you to start this tool immediately with tons of features to explore without limitations. As your writing demand increases, you may opt to upgrade for higher credits later on.

Below are the screenshots of their pricing plans. The first screenshot features the monthly subscription fee for annual plans followed by the fees under a monthly plan.

Many content creators in various sectors expressed their satisfaction when they added Writesonic in their business toolboxes. One of them is Henry Loren Jim C, who works as an HR specialist. He wrote on G2 about his experience with this tool. He said that Writesonic is an essential AI with a user-friendly interface and relevant functionality to create intelligent content.

If you like to give this a try, you can simply sign-up on their website for free without a credit card needed.

14. Zyro

If you heard about Zyro as a website builder, you would be surprised with its additional features tailored for your online success. Not only does it provide a seamless and efficient website, but it also comes with an AI content generator option for content creators like you.

Surprisingly, Zyro has an AI Writer feature that is accessible for new users without a cost. You don’t have to sign-up or pay an amount upfront to use it, which is great. But the downside is, the texts generated don’t promote versatility and don’t make sense. This is why I encourage you to check this tool to see for yourself.

Nonetheless, it’s still worth it when you give it a try and see how this platform works for you. Click here to check Zyro’s AI Writer and review its features before you decide on spending a dime on this tool.

15. Sassbook

Sassbook is an AI content generator that caters to speed up the writing process while saving significant costs from hiring professionals. Its AI Writer feature can automatically generate texts based on the short prompts you provide.

Furthermore, its automatic text summary generator helps you save hours from writing summaries, regardless of the material you want to summarize. Consequently, you can get high-quality material faster than writing the same piece of content traditionally.

Right now, Sassbook only offers two (2) software applications that are already great for content creators in today’s digital marketing industry.

  1. Sassbook AI Writer
  2. Sassbook AI Summarizer

Unlike Writesonic, you have limited access to its features if you opt for a free plan. According to the team, the basic feature set is enough to get familiarized with this tool and how it could help you out in your content writing process.

Free Plan

  • Basic feature set for the enthusiast
  • Limited access to AI Writer and AI Summarize features
  • 50 words per generation/run
  • 2 candidates per generation
  • 20 generations per day
  • 2.5 pages per summarization
  • 15 summaries per day
  • No priority processing

Once you commit to increasing your access to more tools exclusively given to premium members, you have two (2) upgrade options for your Sassbook plan. It’s either the Standard Plan or the Premium Plan.

  • Priority processing

16. Artikel Schreiber (Article Generator.COM)

Like Unaique.net, Artikel Schreiber is a free AI content generator created by a German-based startup. This tool is popular in the German community to such an extent that a local newspaper, Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, featured Artikel Schreiber as a great tool for journalism.

You don’t have to sign-up to get access to this tool since you can immediately generate texts after a few clicks. Then, wait until the AI generates the texts based on the main keyword and sub keyword you entered.

Unfortunately, I had to wait for more than 15 minutes like its German counterpart (Unaique.net) when I tried it for this review. Initially, I had hoped that Artikel Schreiber could do a great job despite its free accessibility. In the end, it was still a good try, but it’s not a preferable tool for high-quality content creation.

Another thing I like to point out is that it tends to extract different existing published blog posts from other people instead of fleshing out fresh content.

In my case, the tool gave me an entire post from someone instead of having an AI do its job. So, if you aren’t checking the text generated, you would end up getting a penalty for plagiarizing someone’s work without knowing it. Use it responsibly.

17. Kafkai

Kafkai claims to be the first AI writer for content generation when OpenAI launched its GPT-2 model. For more than a decade in the industry, the team responsible for its creation continues to provide relevance to their writing models.

On training the AI for this task, they have three (3) modes of operation:

  • Mode 1 — Niche Article Writer
  • Mode 2 — Advances Niche Article Writer with Seeding
  • Mode 3 — General Writer with Seeding

What these modes do depends on your decision on the “seeding” process. To put it simply, the AI relies on the “seeds” or the input you fill in to generate content.

For example, you can write a paragraph or specific keywords related to the topic you’re writing about. These seeds will not be included in the texts.

Currently, they support most existing niches except for trading and pest control which are under development and might be released soon.

Kafkai offers friendly pricing plans that could invite beginner freelance writers a chance to upgrade his/her writing system. For instance, they offer 27 Euros (approximately $32.11) per month for 100 articles under the Writer Plan.

If the Writer Plan isn’t enough for you, Kafkai also has other options for more than 100 articles per month, such as:

  • Industrial Printer Plan (177 Euros per month for 2,500 articles)
  • Printing Press Plan (97 Euros per month for 1,000 articles)
  • Newsroom Plan (most popular plan for 37 Euros per month for 250 articles)

To try Kafkai as an AI content generator, you can sign-up for a 3-day trial and see whether it works for you. Make sure you cancel your membership before the trial ends. Otherwise, you’ll end up paying the following:

  • Writer Monthly — 32.13 Euros/month after 3 days
  • Industrial Printer Monthly — 210.63 Euros/month after 3 days
  • Printing Press Monthly — 115.43 Euros/month after 3 days
  • Newsroom Monthly — 44.03 Euros/month after 3 days

18. Rytr

Rytr has earned its place as one of the recommended tools in the market today because it provides an all-in-one writing platform for busy content creators. When you write any piece of content using this AI content generator, not only does it generate polished content, but it also analyzes keywords for SEO, as well as user engagement.

According to their webpage, it only takes 15 minutes to generate 1,000-word content, from the seeding to the polishing process. That’s a lot of writing hours saved-a necessity for content writers to increase their income potential.

Aside from producing content for blog posts or articles, Rytr also provides a great space for entrepreneurs to scale up their businesses through high-quality content in marketing and advertising.

It also helps this sector save more time, effort, and costs than relying on the traditional process i.e. hiring a freelance writer or social media specialist. More often than not, business owners have to pay more to guarantee expert-level service.

Plus, they have to deal with other uncontrollable variables that could affect their businesses. This is not something they want to challenge. With the help of Rytr, they can skip the idea of wasting time and money, and rather focus on what matters more to them and their businesses.

Rytr’s promising features:

  • Generate unlimited characters
  • Access 20+ use cases and tones
  • Dedicated account manager
  • Priority email and chat support
  • Access to premium community
  • Write in 25+ languages

Rytr’s features are promising and aren’t costly for you to begin with. Like Writesonic, you can start with a free plan (forever) and upgrade your monthly subscription as you increase your word count needed per month.

If you opt for unlimited access, you have to pay $29/month or $290/year with 2 months free. Click here to try Rytr today.

19. Article Generator.ORG

Its webpage says that Article Generator is an “automatic online tool” that guarantees fresh content for anything, from web pages to academic writing. It offers two (2) options for you depending on the number of articles you want per month.

For a free plan, you can immediately seed the AI using the required keywords on the landing page. You can proceed by clicking the “Generate articles” button to get 3 articles.

Important note: Be wary of using this tool due to plagiarism threats.

Nonetheless, Article Generator can give you ideas of other writers’ published content for your topic. But it is not a tool worth spending. Click here to find out more about this AI content generator.

20. Anyword

Anyword is an AI copywriting tool that gained trust from reputable companies like Red Bull and NBC. Since its features cater to highly convertible copy, it may not be the best tool for website content, though it can generate blog posts as well.

You can train the AI to flesh out a piece of content in your brand voice while making sure it performs well regardless of the target market. Furthermore, Anyword is great to use for email marketing, ads, as well as website content, specifically for generating leads.

If you want to try Anyword, you can sign-up for a 7-day trial without spending a dime and risking your credit card information.

21. Qopywriter.ai

Similar to Anyword, Qopywriter.ai is also an AI-powered copywriter that can work best for any piece of content you want to produce. But the one feature that stands out is its capacity to generate content for academic writing where plagiarism is a notorious crime.

According to their website, this AI content generator creates human-quality copies in seconds. Like most tools on the list, Qopywriter.ai follows three (3) steps. Click on the steps to toggle the table and review the details provided.

Step 1 — Describe

You need to seed 1–2 sentences and article titles.

Step 2 — Generate

The AI fleshes out content based on the inputs you made in the first step.

Step 3 — Edit and Export

You can edit and/or proofread the generated article and export it to the desired format.

When it comes to its pricing plans, you have four (4) options that range from free to $420/year. As I said many times in this post, the pricing depends on how many articles you need per month. Consider the number of runs per month when choosing the right plan for you.

Qopywriter.ai pricing plans

  • Trial Plan (Free)
  • Starter Plan ($19/month)
  • Business Plan ($49/month)
  • Yearly Plan ($420/year)

To find out more about Qopywriter.ai and see whether it works for your content writing needs, you can click the link to check out their features, as well as their AI-generated article samples.

22. GhostWriter

GhostWriter is an AI content generator that allows personalized content for your audience. It optimizes any piece of content or article based on metrics, as well as:

It comprises the following free tools and products that can be useful for content writers and business owners alike, such as:

Aside from content generation, GhostWriter also offers features for personalized customer support, which plays a crucial role in leveraging businesses.

Business owners can rely on AI for a faster response time and improve customer satisfaction. This feature makes it unique among other AI content generators listed here.

The GhostWriter team did not reveal the cost of using this application; however, on G2, you see the pricing plans starting from $299/month and up.

Below is a screenshot of GhostWriter pricing plans revealed by the same source.

23. Neural Text

A month ago, a client introduced Neural Text to me when I got hired as a freelance copywriter on Upwork. Created primarily for content creators, this AI content generator can assist in designing any piece of content that works better online, easier and faster.

Once you fill in the keywords you want, Neural Text provides different copy ideas in a few clicks, so you can choose the ones that sound good to you. When choosing the best option, it shows you the SERP data analysis and keyword ideas relevant to your content.

As a start, you can try the Free Forever Plan. Starting on a free plan is the best to give it a try before you decide to invest in a premium plan. You don’t need a credit card to sign up, only your preferred email address.

As soon as you upgrade to increase the runs, prices start from $49/month to $119/month. You can see below the three (3) plans available for Neural Text.

Based on personal experience, Neural Text did a great job in saving more time in the writing process, given that my job was to rewrite several landing pages. Instead of doing it traditionally for days, I finished the copies within a few hours.

24. GoCopy

Aside from using Neural Text for a copywriting job, my client also introduced GoCopy and its features. After I signed up, I enjoyed its minimal interface that helped me focus on what I was doing.

With the help of AI, GoCopy contributes largely to writing productivity with its simple editor feature. It speeds up content creation by using AI to design better texts from blog posts to emails.

When I used it for writing copies, all I needed to do was to fill in the keywords, and the AI provided the copy ideas I could choose. I clicked on the relevant sentences or paragraphs first before I started arranging them from one paragraph to the other until I completed a single piece.

Using traditional copywriting, I had to think of what to say or how I should write each copy better. It wasn’t the case when I used GoCopy.

It’s free when you sign-up for limited runs. So, if you want to increase that per month, you have to opt for a premium plan. Below is the summary of GoCopy pricing plans for you to have a better look at the features included in each plan.

Conclusion — #1 Tip for Choosing the Best AI Content Generation Tool

When choosing the best AI-powered content generation tool for your next project, it’s better to have full control over the costs and trial access. What I mean is, you don’t want to feel rushed for the sake of testing it without risking your budget.

Some writers don’t necessarily write content for websites every single day. Perhaps, they simply want to write fiction today. They don’t need to review the keywords or metrics for that. So, they don’t need these tools for reference.

Another factor you need to look at is the versatility of the tool. Check whether a particular AI content generator can assist you in a lot of ways. So, you don’t have to diversify your workspace.

Having a lot of platforms to use might distract your writing focus. It’s better to have all the functionality you need in one place.

Overall, they are great tools to try if you want to step up in your freelance writing career by speeding up your content writing process. Using them helps you increase your productivity, so you can accomplish more without wasting time.

If you want to learn how to monetize your writing skills today, check this out! Don’t forget to follow me to make sure you won’t miss new updates.

Congratulations! You have reached the end of the post. If you like it, please share this post to tell other content writers about these AI-powered writing tools. These will help them find more alternatives to write better and faster. Thank you. 🙂
